CHILE RISTRAS

The Ristra (string of Chile) was originated as a method of drying and preserving Chile pods for future use in cooking. Our Ristras and Wreaths are made by hand in the traditional way, utilizing top quality Chile pods, and are available year round.  We offer a preservation "Treatment" if you choose to preserve the life of your chile ristra, however, it will no longer be an edible product used for cooking.

Each Ristra is made to order in New Mexico, USA, so it will be as fresh and full as possible. Many of our Ristras are suitable for cooking and recipes are included with each order.

Disney’s movie “Wild Hogs“ featured our ristras throughout the town of Madrid, NM. We're honored to supply Ristras for restaurants, gift shops and garden centers all over the USA including the NYC Botanical Garden.
