HAND CARVED ST. FRANCIS FIGURE

This handsome wooden figure is hand carved in Northern New Mexico, USA by Navajo folk artist Larry Jaquez. Featuring handcarved beard, face,  hands, feet and bird, featuring rope detail at waist. Known for his traditional folk art carvings of Nativities, Coyotes, Saints, Angels, Larry utilizes the cottonwood he gathers from the banks of the Rio Grande making each unique piece a great addition to any authentic New Mexico art collection. 4″ tall.
