Saint Francis Wooden Retablo

This hand made wooden retablo by New Mexican artist Lynn Garlick honors San Francisco de Asisi, Saint Francis, patron of children, animals, ecology and kindness. The St. Francis Prayer on the back reads “Lord make me an instrument of your peace….”. Retablos are an artistic way to pay tribute to the patron saints by simply bringing the image or plaque into your home for prosperity and good luck. Be sure to place this plaque where you can see it daily and let his gentle presence inspire you. For use indoors or outdoors under a protected portal.
Retablo measures 11 1/2″ tall x 5′ wide.  A great piece to hang in your favorite space or to send to someone who loves St. Francis like many New Mexican homes.  Santa Fe Style folk art
